In the case of government and corporate Bonds there is need to appoint an independent party to act as Bond trustee. We are committed to playing this role effectively to ensure that all statutory provisions are met and the interests of Bond holders protected.

 

The services we provide in this regard are as follows; to on behalf of the Issuer, issue a certification letter to each Bondholder. The letter shall state the name of the Bondholder and the amount purchased. Hold in safe custody the Bond Instrument, Inform all Bondholders of maturity dates of their investment, maintain proper documentation and keep sufficient records, monitor compliance with the provisions of the Instrument.

 

We also ensure that we provide information to all Bondholders in respect of conversion, interest payment, assignment or transfers. As parties to the issue, we ensure that the interests of all parties are protected by the Offer document and the Trust Deed. We also take proactive steps to prevent that loss of investor’s funds
